Senate policy requires the evaluation of all courses taught at the University of Minnesota via the Student Rating of Teaching. This is automatically initiated at the end of the semester. At the end of the semester, instructors are encouraged to reserve 15 minutes of class time to help ensure that students have the time to complete this important survey. Students will need to have a laptop or other mobile device in class to complete the survey.
Before the beginning of the next semester, instructors can view results of the SRT by visiting http://eval.umn.edu.
Note: If fewer than five students responded to the course evaluation, the instructor will not see statistical analysis reports.
