Training Requirements and Opportunities

PE Instructor Requirements: Proof of CPR, First Aid, and AED certification is required prior to the first day of class. See CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification Requirement for additional information and resources.

Preventing Sexual Misconduct, Discrimination and Retaliation is a required educational module for employees providing information on preventing and responding to sexual misconduct, retaliation, and discrimination based on race, national origin, disability, gender identity and expression, religion and other protected characteristics. The educational module is a key component of the President's Initiative to Prevent Sexual Misconduct (PIPSM), and is one of many important steps that the University is taking to create an equitable and inclusive culture and climate where all can thrive. New instructors will receive an email from the Office of Human Resources to complete the training.
